Subject: Melodies Loss

I am taking the liberty of sending out this email and I pray that I am not "overstepping" any Bounds. I am also sending it to MELODIE so that she knows my intent was only that of Goodness and Light !

On Saturday ,October 11th , the nursing home informed Melodie that her Mom would probably not make it through the next day , but our Teacher nonetheless , showed up to our class with a beautiful smile on her face with the intent and purpose of keeping her commitment to our class and our education. A very UNSELFISH act that few or US are capable of doing... putting our own feelings behind that of others.

On Sunday,morning , October 12th ,during our first break , Melodie received the news that her Mom had crossed over . She very quietly acknowledged it by phone and went into her "Higher Level of Consciousness". She continued to teach our class in what I truly believe to be in her Subconscious Level . She was poised , detailed, and super efficient through the entire day ... With no one but a couple of us who inadvertantly overheard the phone call knew anything had happened.

I spent the entire class admiring what a strong woman and human being she was to function on such a " HiGHER LEVEL OF CONSCIOUSNESS'  when many of us would have just wanted to cry and run out . She later explained to us that she had  a blessed and wonderful opportunity to say her goodbyes to her Mom the night before while her beautiful spirit was still alive . I sent all the energy I could find to Melodie during these classes , knowing what a difficult road she was to walk the rest of the day. But I feel that experience is one I will never forget in this lifetime ! She was  the "EXAMPLE"  that all TEACHERS  hope to become to their students and the " TEACHER"  that all students hope to ASPIRE TO ! She not only continued the day with strength and determination , she even stayed later than usual to get across some important points that she did not want the class to miss out on.

Then she stayed after even later , explaining some numerology issues to some of us who did not quite understand a demonstration that had been brought up by someone else. Still smiling , giving us her complete attention, even though classroom hours were over.

What a SHINING EXAMPLE of the P.A.T.H.  Effectiveness.  What better way can any teacher ever show their students or peers how to exercise what mental strengths that we are Capable of , than an example such as this was .

I  know that Ed and Cheryl Martin , whom Melodie speaks so highly of and are the Founders of P.A.T.H. Classes for us ... Must be proud to know that the teacher they Put before us can eximplify the very lessons they teach to be truth !

I  hope that I have not offended Melodie by sharing this information to the class... I honestly In my heart do not feel she will mind, and that she will know that it is meant to HONOR her

In the most HUMBLE way I know how !

My respect for her as a TEACHER was always good... But it has grown to new heights and appreciation for her strength and sacrifice she made on these two days in order for our Class not to miss any more time. ( Obviously, Hurricane IKE  started our classes off with Interruption !) .

I would like to send flowers, donate to a worthy cause or charity or something to Honor the Life of Melodie's Mother, so any recommendations about that either from Melodie, the Martins, or classmates, would be appreciated.

I just thought the rest of the class deserved to know what an OUTSTANDING PERSON that  We have as our MENTOR !

We love you Melodie ....
